"I strive to provide a supportive, culturally informed space where clients feel empowered to grow with confidence. I value open dialogue, collaboration, and helping clients build practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity. For those who desire it, I am also able to incorporate Christian and faith-based principles into the therapeutic process."

Intro Statement

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in open communication. I want clients to feel like active participants in their own healing, and I encourage them to ask questions, share openly, and help guide the session's direction when appropriate. I believe therapy is a calling, and I’m committed to empowering individuals to make decisions that reflect their values without the overwhelming influence of stress, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. My goal is for clients to feel heard, supported, and valued throughout the therapeutic process.

Education

I completed my Bachelor’s degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I am licensed to practice in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Nevada.

Experience

I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and have completed continuing education in cultural competence, with a particular focus on the African American community. I have supported clients dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and various mood and behavioral concerns. My clinical work includes helping adults navigate life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that affect their daily functioning. For clients who desire it, I can also integrate Christian and faith-based principles into therapy. My goal is always to empower clients with practical tools, emotional clarity, and the confidence to move forward with resilience.
